Award Ceremony details

Dresscode
All students should come in their school uniforms. It is not necessary to wear the school blazer.

*Note for Tertiary students, you may come in office or smart casual wear.

Invite cards
All guests, including the teachers-in-charge, need an invite card for admission.

Registration
Only students need to register. Students will be given their seat number and FOS pin upon registration.

Guests and teachers-in-charge do not need to register. Admission is based on per invite card. It is free seating for the guests.

During the award ceremony
Students will collect the certificates on stage as a group. There will be a group photo with the GOH on stage for every school.

The flow of the award ceremony is as follow:

• Presentation of Awards for Special Schools
• Presentation of Awards for Primary Schools - Gold, Silver, Bronze, Merit
• Presentation of Awards for Secondary Schools - Gold, Silver, Bronze, Merit
• Presentation of Awards for Primary Schools - Gold, Silver, Bronze, Merit
  

*Note for Gold, Silver and Bronze winners:
Students will be ushered to the Level 1 foyer at the exhibition area when the Tertiary merit award winners are receiving their award on stage. There will be ushers on standby to guide the students.

The students should stand by at the exhibition panel for photo opportunities and answer simple questions when the VIPs tour the exhibition. There may be media interviews for your students as well.

Redemption of goodie bag & refreshment
Please do not throw away your invitation card. You'll need the card to redeem the goodie bags. To avoid long queues, you may collect goodie bag on others' behalf. We will issue the goodie bags according to the number of invite cards you have.

SKM will be providing tea reception after the award ceremony. Do stay around and chat with the SKM staff. We would love to hear your suggestions to further improve our school programs.
